 o ask where eye health is heading\, and who gets to shape that future.\nOn 
 8 October 2026\, OPTOGLOBE\, YPFP and VOSH/International will bring togethe
 r young people from across the eye health and wider health community for WS
 D'26\, A Youth Policy Dialogue on SPECS 2030.\nThe conversation will look a
 t the role of young people in advancing eye health\, influencing policy and
  supporting the implementation of SPECS 2030\, the World Health Organizatio
 n's global eye care initiative.\nYoung people are already contributing to e
 ye health in clinics\, universities\, communities\, research\, advocacy and
  policy spaces. This event creates a space to bring those experiences toget
 her and have an honest conversation about what comes next.\nWe want student
 s\, young professionals\, optometrists\, researchers\, public health enthus
 iasts\, advocates and anyone interested in the future of eye health to be p
 art of the discussion.\nWhat to expect\nThe dialogue will explore:\n\n\nThe
  priorities of SPECS 2030 and what they mean for the next generation of eye
  health professionals\n\n\nThe role young people can play in eye health pol
 icy and advocacy\n\n\nHow young professionals and students can contribute b
 eyond the traditional clinical space\n\n\nThe opportunities and challenges 
 facing the global eye health community\n\n\nWhat meaningful youth participa
 tion in eye health can look like\n\n\nThis is designed as a conversation\, 
 not simply a presentation. Come with your questions\, experiences and ideas

 s\, young professionals\, researchers\, public health professionals\, advoc
