OPTOGLOBE hosted a practical Arclight Training Workshop for optometry students on December 20, 2024, led by Dr. Andrew Blaikie of St Andrews University, Scotland. The workshop equipped participants with the skills to effectively use the Arclight, a portable and affordable retinal imaging tool.

The session included hands-on demonstrations, guided practice, and interactive discussions, helping students understand the device’s applications in eye screening, diagnostics, and community outreach. By the end, participants were confident in using the Arclight to conduct basic eye exams and support vision health initiatives.
