OPTOGLOBE, in collaboration with SVOSH-MCU, proudly hosted its second Global Optometry Student Summit, bringing together students from around the world to explore diversity in optometric education and share perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing future eye care professionals.

The summit featured engaging presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops that highlighted innovative approaches to optometric training, cross-cultural learning, and solutions to global education disparities. Participants gained insight into how diverse experiences can strengthen optometry education and improve eye health outcomes worldwide.

By centering the student perspective, this summit reinforced OPTOGLOBE’s commitment to empowering tomorrow’s leaders in optometry and fostering a connected, global community of informed and engaged eye care professionals.
