This questionnaire is part of a research study aimed at understanding the impact of the high cost of optical instruments on optometry students. While it is recognized that optometry schools are responsible for providing these essential instruments upon payment of school fees, some students may experience challenges or concerns related to the cost, availability, or accessibility of these items. The purpose of this study is to explore how such factors, whether financial or logistical, may affect students’ learning experiences, academic performance, and overall well-being.
Your participation will help gather valuable insights into these matters and inform discussions about the accessibility of resources for optometry students. We invite both students who have experienced challenges with these costs and those who have received their instruments through the school to share their perspectives. This study aims to respect and represent both the students’ experiences and the school’s role in providing these essential tools for learning.
